Tampa Stadium, nicknamed The Big Sombrero, was an open air venue located in Tampa, Florida. Not long after opening in 1967, it went under significant expansion less than ten years later. It is most known for being the home field of Tampa Bay's professional football team from 1976 to 1997. The Big Sombrero hosted other professional and college soccer and football teams during it's time of operation, as well as playing home to multiple concerts and other large events.
